Font Commissions

Thank you for your interest in my font commissions!

I can create fonts using your designs (I'm not a font designer, I can only take your ideas and make them real).

Fonts are licensed under my Nuyube Fonts License 1.1.

Some terms you may not know off-hand:

• Character

  • This is any single symbol in a font. You've read several reading this exact sentence.

• Kerning

  • Kerning refers to the spacing between two characters. Sometimes, it would make sense to reduce or increase the distance.

  • See the note to the right

• Ligatures

  • Ligatures are where you combine multiple characters into one character that makes a new symbol. 

    • A common example of ligatures in English is for "fi" pairs. If you zoom into this exact text box, you'll notice that there is no dot above the i in "fi". It's the same for "ffi", too. 

  • We can use this to make custom characters that simplify to other characters.

  • Additionally, if we need to make a custom character that is not part of a real language, we can use ligatures to create that character.

The prices for the commissions are listed below and are based on number of characters, number of custom characters, number of ligatures, and number of kerning pairs.
